SPIRIT OF A WOMAN

Sara was commissioned by "Counterpart International" to create a sculpture, "Spirit of a Woman" for the "US Committee for UNIFEM". The "Award of Excellence" was presented to Jane Fonda in recognition of her contributions to the attainment of human rights, and the, empowerment of women and girls.

The presentation took place on March 16,2000 at the "National Museum of Woman in the Arts" in Washington,DC.
